Sped up C-SPAN footage of CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta made it appear as though he tried to aggressively block the arm of an intern trying to take the mic from his hand. Acosta was engaged in an intense exchange with Trump about immigration.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders shared the tampered video via Twitter, using it as justification for the White House’s revocation of Acosta’s press credentials. The video quickly received 20,000 retweets and over 2 million views.
