On June 1, 2018, Bill Posters and Daniel Howe released Big Dada. The project consisted of five deepfake artworks that were exhibited on Instagram. The videos critique “influencer culture,” algorithmic bias, and the big business of data aggregation.

The videos, which were connected to a traveling art installation called Spectre, quickly went viral and were featured by VICE and the New York Times.
